‘Makes No Sense’: Canadian Premier Vows to End Proof of Vaccine Policy as Truckers Protest in Ottawa
A Canadian premier said Saturday the proof of vaccine requirement makes no sense and he will end it in the “not-too-distant future” in his province.
Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe said in a statement that being vaccinated doesn’t prevent one from getting the virus and the vaccine mandate “makes no sense.”
“I want to be clear on how I feel about vaccines. I am fully vaccinated with my booster shot. This did not prevent me from recently contracting COVID-19, but I believe it did keep me from becoming sick,” he said in a statement.
COVID-19 is the disease caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, also known as coronavirus.
“That said, because vaccination is not reducing transmission, the current federal border policy for truckers makes no sense. An unvaccinated trucker does not pose any greater risk of transmission than a vaccinated trucker,” he continued.
He will “continue to encourage everyone to get vaccinated” though, believing it will prevent people from becoming seriously ill.
The Epoch Times reached out to the Canadian Prime Minister’s Office and the White House for comments.
Moe showed his appreciation to the truckers for keeping the country running during the pandemic and said the federal vaccine mandate for truckers poses a significant risk to Canada’s economy and to the supply chain in Saskatchewan.
Saskatchewan is a Canadian province about 1,950 miles from Ottawa. It borders the United States from the south.
Moe’s statement came as over 10,000 Canadian truckers are holding the Freedom Convoy 2022 to protest the vaccine mandate for truckers.
After the Public Health Agency of Canada’s announcement that foreign truck drivers can only enter Canada if fully vaccinated starting Jan. 15, and the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announcing similar requirements starting Jan. 22 for non-U.S. national truckers crossing into the United States, thousands of truckers decided to protest and will meet in Ottawa in an attempt to stop the mandates.
Truckers in west Canada started mobilizing on Jan 23.
As the record-breaking convoy passed through different cities, they were greeted with long rows of people cheering and holding Canadian flags, with some shooting off fireworks.
U.S. truckers started joining the protesting efforts swiftly after the creators of Freedom Fighter Nation, attorney Leigh Dundas, and her personal assistant Maureen Steele, heard the news and started organizing in the United States.
The premier of Alberta, Jason Kenney, also voiced support of truckers and promised to discuss the vaccine mandates for truckers with his U.S. counterpart when he’s attending the National Governors Association meeting in Washington, D.C.
“I will be there to discuss growing supply chain problems, including the U.S. and Canadian governments’ policies that have impacted many cross-border truckers, causing further damage to supply chains and higher prices for consumers,” he said in a statement.

Justin Trudeau Flees Capital As Convoy of 50,000 Trucks and Crowds of Supporters Descend on Ottowa
Where is the mainstream media coverage of this historic moment? Justin Trudeau has fled the capital city of Ottowa as the Truckers Freedom Convoy arrives. Over 50,000 trucks are now part of the convoy, which stretches dozens of miles. They have now *peacefully* shut down the city of Ottowa.
Despite below freezing temperatures, a crowd of 30,000 people showed up to welcome the convoy into the city.

Does a man of the people flee from the people? No.
Donald Trump marched with the people. He was supported by the people.
But Trudeau and his over-reaching mandates have sparked anger among the Canadian public.
The Week confirms that Trudeau has fled Ottowa:
As thousands of protesters entered Ottawa, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his family were moved from their home to an undisclosed location somewhere in the city on Saturday afternoon due to security concerns, CBC reports.
A “Freedom Convoy” of some 2,700 trucks entered the Canadian capital city of Ottawa Saturday to protest Trudeau’s COVID-19 policies, Reuters reported.
According to the Independent, around 100 big rigs blockaded a main street running past the Canadian parliament building.
The convoy, which approached the capital from all sides, began as a protest against a vaccine mandate for Canadian truckers crossing the U.S.-Canada border but grew into a wider expression of discontent with the government’s COVID-19 policies.
“These demonstrations are national in scope, they’re massive in scale,” Ottawa police chief Peter Sloly said Friday, expressing concern about the possibility of violent “lone wolf” individuals carrying out violent acts.
Despite the left’s scare mongering of a “lone wolf” attack, the protest has been peaceful and a huge success. Tens of thousands of people are still pouring into the city. The 50,000+ trucks have gridlocked the entire city, making it impossible for any vehicles to go anywhere.
And unlike BLM, all of this has happened peacefully!
Think about it folks: Over 50,000 trucks are part of this convoy. But here’s the thing – if the media has covered this story, they are leaving out the number of participants.Why?
Because they don’t want the American public to know how much support there is for this movement. They want it to seem like a “fringe” minority. But they’re not.
Here’s how the New York Times covered the convoy:
After six days spent crossing Canada, a convoy that began as a protest against mandatory vaccination for truckers who travel to the United States was expected to arrive in Ottawa late Saturday afternoon, with its members and supporters airing a wide array of grievances.
The loosely organized “Freedom Rally” or “Freedom Convoy” of trucks and private vehicles had set off from British Columbia, and ebbed and flowed in size on the way to the capital, where the police braced for an unpredictable weekend of protests. In recent days, the convoy was joined by other, smaller groups from south and east of Ottawa as well as the national capital region itself.
The movement has attracted people opposed to all pandemic restrictions, others who want Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to step down and some who simply dislike government.
On Friday, Chief Peter Sloly of the Ottawa Police Service declined to say how many protesters the force expected to converge on Parliament Hill. His department said that they were coming to the capital in eight different streams.
“The demonstrations this weekend will be unique, fluid, risky and significant,” he said at a news conference.
Early Saturday afternoon, streets in and around Parliament were clogged with cars and trucks, most carrying flags or signs denouncing public health measures, as well as protesters often toting homemade signs on hockey sticks. The air was filled will diesel fumes and the sound of honking horns.
Watching over them was a large contingent of police and Parliamentary security officers. The Ottawa police force was supplemented by officers sent from Ontario communities hundreds of miles away, as well as the Ontario Provincial Police and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
The media continues to downplay the historic convoy.
They have already broken the world record for the largest convoy in the world.
If the media won’t cover this story, then it’s up to us.

The Trucker strike should empty grocery store shelves quickly, so it was advised to stock up on food, fuel and goods for at least 2-3 weeks.
CANADIAN FREEDOM CONVOY UPDATE
The Six Nations People’s will be joining in Ottawa. Many First Nations will be there to represent and stand united. Windsor Ontario crew circling the border – day three!! Justin Trudeau is reported to be in Costa Rica on vacation with his family. We will welcome him home with tens of thousands on parliaments doorstep. Truckers are being asked to stock up on food to bring with them into Ontario as some areas have little stock in stores. They may need support once in Ontario.
For anyone crossing through Quebec to get to Ottawa, please keep in mind that if you aren’t vaxxed you won’t be allowed in most places, including grocery stores. Please make sure you have food, water and anything you need prior to hitting Quebec.

Most OPP say they are with us and want to help with the convoy, not disrupt things. Remember, they still have a job to do. Keep things straight and follow the law. We have city workers who are reporting to us what is happening inside Ottawa so we can all best prepare. No barricades currently at parliament hill. No trucks, people or police. If you decide to join the convoy please make sure your car/trucks are clean of anything. Also, make sure tags are up to date and they have nothing to give tickets out for. They will look for anything to disrupt things.
Cameras turned off on hwy 401, 2,000 truckers joining from Georgia, Reports of a 10km back up to get in to Winnipeg. Antifa in Winnipeg and accusing pat king of violence and threats to parliament. Expect they will do everything they can to stop this. They cannot. Rebel news and dozens more are coving the convoy and movement. Quebec groups asking all restaurants across Canada to open against mandates on Jan 29th.
Twitter has disabled the freedom convoy hashtag. FB has frozen the official freedom convoy group. People are working on backups on other platforms. The GoFundMe is still very much working. Anything else you hear isn’t factual. We’ve broken the Guinness record for longest convoy in history – over 10,000 vehicles.

In less than a week Canadians raised 5 million and counting, made the Guinness world record for biggest convoy ever, got millions of people traveling across the country, joined by our American brothers and sisters, made headlines globally, woke up a shit ton of sheep, are now United as a country standing in solidarity with each other both vaxxed and unvaxxed together United, and all of this was done without any sort of violence whatsoever!!!
Let me put this into perspective for those of you not in Canada. There are at this point,)) a half million people descending on Ottawa right now and that number is growing daily. In the 60s they held Woodstock and a half million people showed up for that.
To date the worlds biggest convoy was in Egypt and was only 7.5 kilometers (km) long. Right now in British Columbia Canada (west coast) 1 leg of this convoy was 150 km long…1 leg of it!!! That leg hasn’t even caught up to the main convoy yet. In fact it still has to go through 5 more provinces before it hits the main convoy in Ottawa. Each province has their own leg of convoys coming from every town and city. Ottawa is in the middle of Canada. So imagine this happening coming from both directions (east and west coasts).
Trudeau is trying to label us as terrorists. Tell me trudick….are you going to label every. single. Canadian as a terrorist???? Cuz if you label one of our truckers a terrorist then you gotta label every single Canadian citizen a terrorist because every Canadian citizen has just stood up in support of these truckers. Your lie has already been exposed before you can even tell it.

There is a major re-set happening. If you are feeling tired, spaced out or experiencing inertia, fear not, this is a temporary state of being whilst this reset continues. Many of us are now winding up all of our old karmic and completed or redundant soul contracts, our habitual ways of being and doing. The pictures of reality that we have lived with for so long are now changing and the new ones are not yet known. In fact, most likely there will never be the same kind of certainty that most of us have grown up with ever again. We are now entering an age of emergence – where we are living in the moment, navigating by our senses – learning to go with what feels good, our intuition, our desires and our inner knowing.
Life is going to be very organic which means our old ways of doing things and how we see life is going to be vastly different. We are going to need to know how to be in flow with the evolutionary impulse as well as our own cyclical nature and this is something that will feel pretty alien to many. We will be learning how to stay true to ourselves whilst at the same time re-purposing our skills and experience to serve in a new, more collaborative way than we have before. At this time, plenty of rest, good nutrition, time in nature and contemplation or journaling activities can be supportive in helping us integrate whilst this major re-set is happening. These can be times when we feel great loss and it is important to let the tears fall even when we are not sure why we are crying. At a soul level, much is changing and re-orienting.
This takes time and energy. We are on the brink of a golden opportunity to do things differently to how we have before.
A child like stance of curiosity and willingness to try things out are helpful at this time. Above all, kindness and patience. For ourselves and for each other. Kindness is a new currency.

You surely feel this in your heart as the massive influxes are our initiation, bringing so much heightened energy. In addition to distinguishing between the armed forces and the civilian population, the law of war also distinguishes between “privileged” and “unprivileged,” or “lawful” and “unlawful” combatants.
“Unlawful combatants” or “unprivileged belligerents” are persons who, by engaging in hostilities, have incurred one or more of the corresponding liabilities of combatant status, but who are not entitled to any of the distinct privileges of combatant status.
Unprivileged belligerents include lawful combatants who have forfeited the privileges of combatant status by engaging in spying or sabotage, and private persons who have forfeited one or more of the protections of civilian status by engaging in hostilities.

It’s tempting (and not far off) to say that critical thinking is about what to believe, whereas rational thinking is about what to do. But since the answer “what should I do?” is a kind of belief, then rational thinking is really a sub-set of critical thinking.
To make things even more complicated, critical thinking is sometimes defined in terms of rationality: Critical thinking can be defined as “the systematic evaluation or formulation of beliefs, or statements, by rational standards.”* The fact that it involves rational standards means that it involves giving reasons — you should only believe something if you have good reasons to believe it.
Probably the best guide: rational thinking is about giving reasons; critical thinking is about using rationality to figure out what to believe.
