What Is the Healing Web?

Creator

Released
Sunday, April 7, 2019, in partnership with Great Awakening Report
Edition
Version 4.5; two pages (map + creator's essay)
Structure
Two hemispheres: holistic and pharmacological; diet at the center

The Healing Web is a two-page visual reference created by artist and researcher Dylan Louis Monroe, founder of the Deep State Mapping Project. Its creator describes it as a "bi-hemisphered index of holistic and pharmacological remedies for most common illnesses and conditions": one canvas that places natural, alternative, and complementary approaches beside conventional Western treatments, with diet at the center and the historical origins of both systems in the upper corners.

Great Awakening Report partnered with Monroe to release the map in 2019 and hosts version 4.5 here as a research resource. The first page is the map itself. The second page, "Words from the Healing Web," is Monroe's own essay explaining the thinking behind it, including his critique of the medical industry and his views on diet.

As with the Deep State Map, the most useful way to approach it is as a visual research index rather than a treatment guide. Pick a condition or remedy that interests you, note the names and terms connected to it, then investigate them independently. The map is the beginning of the research—not the end.

How to Read the Map

How to Read the Healing Web

The Healing Web is organized around a simple split. Monroe places two systems of medicine on opposite halves of the page, gives diet the center, and traces the historical origins of each system in the upper corners. Every entry is a search term.

One hemisphereHolistic / Natural
Other hemispherePharmacological / Western
Center: Diet
  1. 01

    Start With the Two Hemispheres

The map's defining feature is its split. One half indexes holistic, natural, and alternative approaches; the other indexes pharmacological and conventional treatments. Monroe writes that Western medicine is "useful at times" and proposes that an optimal approach would use the best techniques of both systems. Reading across the divide, condition by condition, is how the map is meant to be used.

  2. 02

Notice What Sits at the Center

Diet occupies the middle of the diagram. The creator describes this placement as deliberate: the map is built to illustrate what he calls "the central importance of diet in treating all diseases." Whether or not you accept that premise, it explains why so many of the map's connections route through food.

  3. 03

    Check the Upper Corners

The upper corners trace the historical origins of each system as Monroe presents them. These are the map's most interpretive regions, mixing documented history with the creator's own framing, and they are worth reading with that in mind.

  4. 04

Treat Every Entry as a Research Keyword

Rather than accepting a connection as displayed, take the condition and the remedy at either end and research them independently.

MethodCondition → Remedy. Search both together, then look at who has studied the relationship, how, and with what results. Ask what kind of evidence supports it: clinical trials, traditional use, individual accounts, or the creator's interpretation.
  5. 05

Read Page Two as an Argument

"Words from the Healing Web" explains why Monroe built the map and what he believes. It is a position statement, and a strongly worded one. Reading it will make the map's choices clearer; it should not be mistaken for a medical reference, and Monroe himself prints a disclaimer to that effect.

The Creator's Case

What the Healing Web Argues

The map and its companion essay make a series of claims. They are summarized here as Monroe's positions so you know what the map is proposing before you research it. Great Awakening Report does not independently verify them.

  1. 01

    Two Systems, One Canvas

Monroe places holistic and pharmacological remedies side by side. He argues that Western medicine often treats symptoms rather than causes, while allowing that a holistic approach "can even include a pharmacological treatment" with natural remedies alongside it.

  2. 02

    Diet as the Foundation

The creator argues that diet modification alone could prevent or reverse a majority of diseases, and that institutions have misled the public on fundamental aspects of nutrition. This is the premise behind diet's central position on the map.

  3. 03

    Cooking, Processing, and Additives

The Healing Web associates overcooking and pasteurization with lost enzymes, cultures, and proteins, and associates preservatives and added sugar with poor health outcomes. Monroe proposes a return to organic food, sustainable farming, and raw nutrition.

  4. 04

    A Multifaceted Approach

Monroe proposes that every condition would benefit from a combination of detox, diet, exercise, immune support through supplementation, and energetic and spiritual healing, rather than a single intervention.

  5. 05

    The Diet Debate

The essay questions the standard American diet, veganism, and progressively restrictive diets alike. Monroe describes the debate as "polluted with much propaganda and misinformation from every side" and argues for food that is "real, natural, and tested by time."

  6. 06

    An Institutional Critique

Monroe frames the interaction between government and the pharmaceutical, agricultural, and food industries as deliberate harm, and connects it to the depopulation themes of his Deep State Map. This is the map's most contested territory; treat it as the creator's interpretation and examine the evidence for yourself.

In the Creator's Own Words

"These statements are intended to inspire you to pursue your own independent research, and should not be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease."

Scope

Subjects Found on the Healing Web

The map references conventional medicine, pharmaceuticals, nutrition, supplements, alternative and complementary practices, environmental exposures, spiritual approaches, and the history of both medical systems. The subjects vary enormously in how much evidence supports them.

Some entries refer to well-studied treatments and established nutrition science. Others represent traditional practices with limited formal study, emerging research, personal experience, or the creator's own interpretations. Encountering a term on the map should be the beginning of the research process, not the end.

Origins

Healing Web History: From the Deep State Map to Version 4.5

The Healing Web grew out of the same mapping project as the Q-WEB, turning the same visual method toward health.

  1. January 2017

    Deep State Mapping Project Begins

Monroe's first work for the project, the List of Grievances, consolidates numerous subjects onto a single sheet and establishes the method the later maps follow.

  2. November 2017

    The Deep State Map (Q-WEB)

The map that made the project widely known. Its depopulation and institutional themes later resurface, reframed around medicine, in the Healing Web.

  3. April 7, 2019

How to Research the Healing Web

The map becomes useful when treated as a starting point rather than a set of answers. Work one condition or remedy at a time, and weigh the evidence before drawing conclusions.

01

Choose One Entry

Pick a single condition or remedy that interests you and follow the connections drawn to it.

02

Write Down the Unfamiliar

Substances, practices, names, and historical references you don't recognize become your search list.

03

Examine the Evidence

Search independently. Look for original sources and ask what kind of evidence exists: clinical study, traditional use, personal account, or interpretation.

04

Sort, Then Consult

Distinguish established medical findings, emerging research, personal experience, and the creator's interpretation. Talk to a qualified professional before acting on any of it.

The map is the beginning of the research—not the end.

Is everything on the Healing Web proven? No. Some claims depicted or discussed are disputed, unproven, or inconsistent with established medical guidance. Monroe himself asks readers to pursue their own independent research, and Great Awakening Report presents the map in the same spirit.
