THE PRESSURE IS SPREADING, FOLLOW THE PRESSURE
From Independent Stress to System Transmission: GEOPOLITICS → SHIPPING → ENERGY → FOOD → INFLATION → BONDS → MARKETS → CAPITAL
Geopolitics • Shipping • Energy • Food • Inflation • Sovereign Debt • Markets • Capital • AI Infrastructure • Climate
“The next major shift may not begin with one dramatic event. It may emerge when several manageable pressures begin moving together faster than the global system can absorb them. The story is not collapse. The story is compression—the point where separate pressures begin connecting, transmitting, and behaving like one interconnected system.”
WEEKLY SIGNAL BRIEF
THE PRESSURE IS SPREADING
War • Energy • Debt • Markets • AI • Climate
AUGUST 24–30, 2026
SYSTEM STATE: CONVERGENT PRESSURE → SYSTEM STRESS
The global system is still functioning, and that distinction is important. What changed this week is that several major pressures became more visibly connected: the Iran conflict and Hormuz are affecting energy; energy and inflation are influencing interest-rate expectations; higher rates are pressuring bonds and capital; and the AI boom is demanding extraordinary amounts of electricity and financing.
The dominant signal is TRANSMISSION. We are watching pressure move from one system into another rather than treating every headline as an independent crisis.
WAR → ENERGY → INFLATION → RATES → DEBT → MARKETS
1 | HORMUZ — THE ENERGY PRESSURE POINT
The Strait of Hormuz remains the most important immediate geopolitical variable in the GAR framework. Iran and Oman continued discussing a possible shipping arrangement this week, while Iran began preparing conditions for reopening the Strait; meanwhile, the waterway remains heavily disrupted and Gulf governments are accelerating investment in alternative ports, pipelines and transportation routes.
Oil nevertheless ended the week lower, with Brent settling around $89.31, suggesting markets see at least some possibility of improved shipping conditions. But that should not be mistaken for resolution: Hormuz remains capable of quickly transmitting geopolitical escalation into transportation, manufacturing, inflation and consumer prices.
GAR SIGNAL: Hormuz remains the primary short-term transmission point.
HORMUZ → OIL → INFLATION → INTEREST RATES → GLOBAL ECONOMY
2 | A NEW MIDDLE EAST SECURITY ORDER
The Saudi Arabia–Turkey–Pakistan defense relationship moved another step from agreement toward implementation. Senior foreign-policy and defense officials are preparing for the first meeting under the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement, with military interoperability, defense production and technology cooperation expected to be central topics.
The larger story is regional realignment. Middle Eastern powers are developing security arrangements that supplement their traditional relationships with Washington and NATO, potentially creating a more multipolar regional architecture.
GAR SIGNAL: Watch the alliance structure—not simply the individual conflicts.
3 | UKRAINE — ESCALATION AND NEGOTIATION CONTINUE TO COEXIST
Ukraine remains caught between two seemingly contradictory trends. Drone and missile warfare continues intensifying, including attacks against energy and industrial infrastructure, while diplomatic efforts are simultaneously exploring another high-level negotiating pathway.
That combination may define the next phase of the war. Military pressure can increase precisely when governments are attempting to improve their negotiating positions, meaning diplomacy and escalation should not be viewed as mutually exclusive.
GAR SIGNAL: The larger question is shifting toward the future security architecture of Europe.
4 | BONDS — THE FINANCIAL WARNING LIGHT
The bond market remains one of the most important signals to watch. Rising long-term yields mean governments must pay more to borrow, but the effects do not stop there: higher Treasury yields influence mortgages, commercial real estate, corporate financing and equity valuations.
The issue is increasingly global rather than exclusively American. Governments are carrying enormous debt loads at the same time that inflation and geopolitical uncertainty make cheap financing more difficult to maintain.
GAR SIGNAL: Debt becomes considerably more dangerous when the cost of servicing it keeps rising.
DEBT → YIELDS → CREDIT → REAL ESTATE → BUSINESS → MARKETS
5 | THE FED ADDS ANOTHER LAYER OF PRESSURE
Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh's Jackson Hole remarks reinforced the Fed's concern about persistent inflation. Markets consequently increased expectations that another rate increase could become necessary if inflation does not move convincingly toward the Fed's 2% objective.
This matters because energy prices, government borrowing and monetary policy are now interacting. If inflation stays elevated, policymakers have less freedom to lower rates simply because financial markets or heavily indebted sectors begin experiencing stress.
GAR SIGNAL: The system wants cheaper money, but inflation may prevent it.
6 | AI — THE BOOM MEETS THE CAPITAL MARKET
AI continues to be one of the strongest investment stories in the global economy. Nvidia's latest results reinforced expectations for extraordinary AI demand, helping technology shares rally sharply during the week.
But underneath that optimism is an increasingly important second story: who finances the infrastructure? AI companies need enormous data centers, chips, power generation, transmission systems and cooling infrastructure, increasingly financed through debt and complex capital arrangements. A new $2.4 billion financing announced for IREN's AI infrastructure this week is another example of the scale involved.
GAR SIGNAL: AI's constraint is expanding from electricity to capital.
AI → COMPUTE → POWER → INFRASTRUCTURE → DEBT → CAPITAL
7 | MARKETS — STRONG, BUT INCREASINGLY SELECTIVE
Markets have still not confirmed the systemic breakdown that some commentators expect. Nvidia's strong outlook demonstrated that investors remain willing to finance growth, and the S&P 500 remains close to record territory.
There are warning signs underneath the indexes, however. U.S. equity funds experienced roughly $22.3 billion in net withdrawals in the week through August 26, their largest weekly outflow since March, while investors continued moving money into bond funds.
GAR SIGNAL: This is not market collapse. It is a growing contest between AI-driven optimism and rising capital costs.
8 | EL NIÑO — THE NEXT PRESSURE IS APPROACHING
Climate now belongs inside the economic discussion. The World Meteorological Organization says a strong El Niño is developing, accompanied by exceptionally warm oceans and expected changes in global rainfall and temperature patterns. Its seasonal models projected rapid strengthening through August–October with the event potentially peaking around November.
The important issue is not predicting individual disasters months in advance. It is recognizing that drought, flooding or extreme heat in major agricultural regions can become another transmission mechanism affecting crops, commodities, insurance, transportation and food prices.
GAR SIGNAL: EL NIÑO → WEATHER → CROPS → FOOD PRICES → INFLATION → SOCIAL PRESSURE
THE BIG PICTURE
This week's signals are easier to understand when viewed as one interconnected system rather than eight separate stories.
The Iran conflict pressures energy. Energy complicates inflation. Inflation limits the Fed's options. Higher rates increase debt-service costs. Expensive capital pressures governments, businesses, real estate and the enormous AI infrastructure buildout. Climate disruption could eventually add another layer through agriculture and food.
At the same time, there are important stabilizing forces. Hormuz negotiations continue, oil ended the week below recent highs, AI investment remains powerful, corporate earnings are supporting equities, and diplomatic channels remain open in several conflicts.
That balance is important because the evidence does not presently point to inevitable collapse. It points toward a system becoming more expensive and complicated to stabilize.
GAR OUTLOOK | SEPTEMBER 2026
The next month should tell us considerably more. Rather than tracking dozens of headlines, GAR should concentrate on five indicators: Hormuz shipping, Brent crude, long-term Treasury yields, Federal Reserve policy expectations and El Niño/agricultural conditions.
If several begin deteriorating simultaneously, the system could move from Convergent Pressure → System Stress → Cascading Stress.
If they stabilize, the global system may continue absorbing the shocks.
GAR BOTTOM LINE
The story is no longer simply pressure.
It is transmission.
The critical question for September is whether the pressure remains contained inside individual systems—or begins moving rapidly between war, energy, inflation, debt, markets, technology and food.
SYSTEM STATE: CONVERGENT PRESSURE → SYSTEM STRESS
NEXT STATE TO WATCH: CASCADING STRESS
“The next stage of the global transition will not be defined by a single crisis. It will be defined by how geopolitical, financial, technological, energy and climate pressures interact—and whether the system can continue absorbing them simultaneously.”

ORIENTATION BRIEF — WEEK AHEAD
FOLLOW THE PRESSURE
Energy • War • Debt • Food • AI • Markets
AUGUST 31–SEPTEMBER 6, 2026
SYSTEM OUTLOOK: CONVERGENT PRESSURE → SYSTEM STRESS
The global system enters September functioning, but with less room for error. The important change is not that every major indicator is deteriorating; it is that war, energy, inflation, sovereign debt, food security and AI investment are becoming increasingly connected.
For subscribers, the week ahead can be simplified around one question: Does pressure remain contained, or begin transmitting faster through the system?
CONVERGENCE RISK: 🟠 HIGH
THE CENTRAL SIGNAL — WATCH TRANSMISSION
Individual crises are usually manageable. The greater risk appears when one problem begins increasing pressure somewhere else.
Two chains deserve particular attention:
WAR → SHIPPING → ENERGY → INFLATION → RATES → MARKETS
AI → ELECTRICITY → INFRASTRUCTURE → DEBT → CAPITAL
The objective this week is therefore not to chase every headline. It is to identify whether these connections are strengthening or weakening.
1 | HORMUZ — WATCH FOR NORMALIZATION
Hormuz remains GAR's most important immediate geopolitical indicator. Hundreds of ships reportedly remain stranded or delayed in Gulf waters, but negotiations involving Iran and Oman have created the possibility of a more workable shipping arrangement.
Oil provides an important counter-signal: despite the conflict, Brent ended August below $90 after trading considerably higher earlier in the summer. If shipping improves and oil continues falling, one of the largest sources of global inflationary pressure could begin easing.
WATCH: Hormuz traffic • Brent crude • Iran negotiations • Gulf security
2 | BONDS — THE FINANCIAL PRESSURE POINT
The Treasury market moves to the front of the GAR watchboard in September. The 10-year Treasury finished August 28 around 4.73%, while concerns over inflation, federal debt and the supply of long-term bonds continue influencing borrowing costs.
Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh added another complication at Jackson Hole by emphasizing that inflation must move convincingly toward 2%. Markets consequently increased expectations for another rate increase, meaning cheaper money cannot yet be assumed.
WATCH: Treasury yields • Fed expectations • Dollar • Gold • Credit
3 | UKRAINE — THE WAR MOVES DEEPER INTO INFRASTRUCTURE
The Russia–Ukraine conflict is increasingly becoming an infrastructure war. Russia launched an exceptionally prolonged drone-and-missile campaign on August 28–29, while Ukraine continues attacking Russian fuel, industrial, logistics and port infrastructure.
Russia has now extended restrictions on diesel exports through September as refinery disruptions contribute to domestic fuel problems. The danger is that attacks on energy and transportation infrastructure create economic consequences far beyond the immediate battlefield.
WATCH: Energy infrastructure • Black Sea ports • Refineries • Grain • NATO borders
4 | FOOD — THE BLACK SEA BECOMES THE KEY
Food security is moving higher on the watchboard. Russia and Ukraine are both major agricultural exporters, yet Black Sea disruptions have sharply reduced grain flows; Reuters reports that Black Sea exports from both countries have effectively ground to a halt amid reciprocal attacks.
Wheat prices had already risen more than 17% from the beginning of July by August 20. The immediate question is whether alternative export routes and diplomatic efforts can prevent a temporary disruption from developing into a more sustained supply squeeze.
WATCH: Wheat • Black Sea shipping • Fertilizer • Fuel • Export routes
5 | TAIWAN — PREPARATION, NOT YET CRISIS
Taiwan remains a strategic watchpoint rather than an active crisis comparable with Iran or Ukraine. Taipei has been strengthening civil-defense preparations, conducting blockade-related exercises and proposing a record 2027 defense budget as Chinese military pressure continues.
This distinction matters. GAR should monitor Taiwan carefully without treating every military exercise as evidence that conflict is imminent; the real warning would be an unusual combination of sustained Chinese deployments, shipping disruption, airspace restrictions and rapid military mobilization.
WATCH: PLA deployments • Taiwan Strait • Shipping • Semiconductors • U.S.–China relations
6 | AI — FROM TECHNOLOGY BOOM TO CAPITAL BOOM
AI remains one of the strongest forces supporting investment and corporate earnings. But its infrastructure requirements are becoming large enough to influence electricity markets, corporate borrowing and eventually the broader bond market.
AI-related debt issuance has reportedly exceeded $220 billion in 2026, roughly double last year's level. That creates a fascinating convergence: governments and technology companies increasingly compete for enormous pools of capital at the same time.
WATCH: AI debt • Data centers • Electricity • Chips • Corporate spreads
7 | MARKETS — SEPTEMBER'S FIRST TEST
Markets remain resilient, with the S&P 500 still close to record levels. Strong corporate profits and continued enthusiasm surrounding AI have helped absorb geopolitical, inflation and bond-market pressures.
But the week ahead brings an important test. The September 4 U.S. employment report, manufacturing data and additional technology earnings could significantly influence expectations for the Federal Reserve and therefore bonds, equities and the dollar.
The warning signal isn't simply falling stocks. It would be several markets deteriorating together:
STOCKS ↓ + BONDS ↓ + CREDIT STRESS ↑ + OIL ↑
THE NEW WILDCARD — EL NIÑO
The developing El Niño should remain on the GAR board, but it belongs in the forward-risk category rather than being treated as an immediate crisis. Its importance will increase if changing rainfall, drought, flooding or extreme heat begins affecting major agricultural regions.
That would connect climate directly with the existing convergence:
EL NIÑO → CROPS → FOOD → INFLATION → HOUSEHOLDS
September through December should give us considerably better evidence of whether this becomes an economic story.
THREE PATHWAYS | WEEK AHEAD
🟢 STABILIZATION — 30%Hormuz shipping improves, oil remains below recent highs, Treasury yields ease and geopolitical conflicts remain geographically contained. Outcome: pressure begins separating rather than converging.
🟠 CONTINUED SYSTEM STRESS — 50%Hormuz remains constrained, bond yields stay elevated, Black Sea disruptions continue and markets absorb the pressure without breaking. Outcome: the system remains functional, but increasingly expensive to stabilize.
🔴 CASCADING PRESSURE — 20%A geopolitical escalation pushes oil higher while bonds and equities weaken, credit conditions tighten or food disruptions intensify. Outcome: pressure begins moving rapidly across several systems simultaneously.
GAR analytical scenarios—not statistical forecasts.
THE FIVE INDICATORS THAT MATTER
For the coming week, I would reduce the entire GAR watchboard to five measurements:
1. HORMUZ — Are more ships moving?2. OIL — Is Brent moving toward $80 or back toward $100?3. BONDS — Are long-term Treasury yields stabilizing?4. FOOD — Are Black Sea grain flows recovering?5. MARKETS — Are stocks, bonds and credit beginning to weaken together?
Everything else provides context around those signals.
GAR BOTTOM LINE
DON'T WATCH THE NOISE. WATCH THE CONNECTIONS.
The world is not entering September in systemic collapse. It is entering September with multiple expensive problems competing for the same capital, energy, infrastructure and political attention.
There are also meaningful stabilizers: oil has retreated from its summer highs, Hormuz diplomacy continues, financial markets remain functional, AI investment remains strong and governments are actively adapting infrastructure and supply chains. The next stage therefore depends less on whether another negative headline appears and more on whether several existing pressures begin moving in the same direction at the same time.
That is the signal GAR should watch.
“The defining risk is not one crisis. It is the moment several manageable pressures begin reinforcing one another faster than the system can adapt.”
GAR WATCHBOARD | AUGUST 31–SEPTEMBER 6
HORMUZ • BRENT CRUDE • TREASURY YIELDS • FED • BLACK SEA • WHEAT • UKRAINE • TAIWAN • AI CAPITAL • EL NIÑO • EQUITIES
A Call to Patriots
Let this moment be remembered as a time of clarity, not chaos—when citizens chose discernment over outrage and responsibility over fear. The republic is not reclaimed through force or noise, but through truth, accountability, and lawful restoration.
Patriots are defined by their ability to remain coherent under pressure, to reject deception, and to stand firm as systems are rebuilt. This is not a call to conflict, but to orientation, integrity, and justice allowed to function.
History will remember who stayed steady when it mattered most.

THE PRESSURE IS SPREADING | FOLLOW THE PRESSURE | AUGUST 31, 2026
This week’s Awakening the Sleeping Giant follows the next stage of a pattern that has been building throughout August. The global system remains functional, but pressures that once appeared largely independent are becoming increasingly connected. The Strait of Hormuz remains a critical transmission point between geopolitics and energy, a new Saudi Arabia–Turkey–Pakistan defense relationship is beginning to reshape the Middle East security architecture, and the Russia–Ukraine war continues moving deeper into energy, industrial, and transportation infrastructure—even as another potential negotiating pathway develops. The important shift is not simply that multiple flashpoints remain active. It is that their economic consequences are beginning to travel much farther beyond the conflicts themselves.
At the center of this week’s report is a simple idea: follow the pressure. War pressures energy. Energy influences inflation. Inflation shapes interest-rate expectations. Higher rates increase the cost of sovereign debt, mortgages, corporate borrowing, infrastructure, and the extraordinary amounts of capital required to sustain the global AI buildout. Meanwhile, disruptions across the Black Sea are placing food and grain supplies back on the watchboard, while El Niño adds another potential source of pressure through weather, agriculture, commodities, and ultimately consumer prices. The individual stories matter—but increasingly, it is the connections between them that tell us where the global system may be heading.
Beyond these primary signals, this edition again looks beneath the conventional news cycle at developments involving technology, health, surveillance, alternative history, environmental events, and human sovereignty. As we enter September, the story is still not one of inevitable collapse. It is one of compression, transmission, and diminishing room for error. Some forces are stabilizing even as others intensify: oil has retreated from earlier highs, diplomatic channels remain open, markets continue functioning, and technological investment remains powerful. That makes discernment especially important. This week, Awakening the Sleeping Giant is not asking readers to chase every headline. It is asking them to watch what happens when the headlines begin connecting—because the next major signal may not be a single dramatic event, but several manageable pressures beginning to move together faster than the system can absorb them.
The Great Civilization Near Death Event | NDE
“Be Strong Enough to Stand Alone / Be Yourself Enough to Stand Apart / And When the Time Comes, Be Wise Enough to Stand Together”
The Great Reset of Everything
We have entered a window of time where everything we have learned, experienced and known to be true is about to dramatically change. We are Awakening to a great truth, “That Everything We Were Taught Is A Lie”. The lives we once knew, lived and experienced prior to January 2020 are now gone forever. We are witnessing the total collapse of not just a few, but all of our statured institutions; The US Government Senate/Congress; through the NSA, DOD, CIA, DIA, ATF, ONI, US Army, US Marine Corp, FEMA and DHS have spent in excess of 12 trillion dollars building the massive, covert infrastructure for the coming One World Government and New World Religion over the past 40 years. Along with other industries; Wall Street Markets & Finance, Banking Industries, Big Tech, Big Insurance, Pharma, Oil, Education, Hollywood Industries, US Military, Medical AMA, Military and Energy Industrial Complexes, all are embroiled in corruption scams and human trafficking.
Given the monolithic corruption and evil encrusted within all these institutions, We are now Witnessing in Real Time a Global Everything Collapse. What has been described and depicted as The Storm! and “The Great Civilization Near Death Experience”. The fallout of which could last anywhere from 2 to 5 years based on geographic locations.
We will then have a choice and chance for “A New Beginning to Reset Everything as We Rebuild America”.

A Message From the Hopi Elders
Written By Maira Horta LMFT
You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour.
Now you must go back and tell the people that this is The Hour.
Here are the things that must be considered:
Where are you living? What are you doing? What are your relationships? Are you in right relation? Where is your water? Know our garden. It is time to speak your Truth. Create your community. Be good to each other. And do not look outside yourself for the leader.
This could be a good time!
There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel like they are being torn apart, and they will suffer greatly.
Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off toward the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water.
See who is there with you and celebrate.
At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, least of all ourselves! For the moment we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.
The time of the lonely wolf is over. Gather yourselves!
Banish the word struggle from your attitude and vocabulary.
All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.
We are the ones we have been waiting for.

NEW! Editor’s Notes: The Trump Enigma | Separating Signal from Noise
Since its founding in 2018, The Great Awakening Report has maintained an intentionally apolitical position, focusing on signals, patterns, independent research, and emerging narratives rather than allegiance to any political party, public figure, or movement.
In recent months, few individuals have generated more speculation, contradictory narratives, and competing interpretations than President Donald J. Trump. Social media posts, policy reversals, public appearances, conflicting reports, and countless online theories have fueled ongoing debate surrounding what is genuine, what may be strategic messaging, and what may simply be misinformation amplified through the modern information environment. Claims involving hidden operations, body doubles, staged appearances, and broader narrative deception and manipulation continue circulating throughout alternative media circles, while mainstream sources largely dismiss such assertions outright. Whether any of these claims contain truth, disinformation, psychological operations, selective perception, or intentional narrative engineering remains difficult—if not impossible—to independently verify with certainty.
What has become increasingly clear is that the information environment surrounding President Trump has grown extraordinarily fragmented, emotionally charged, and saturated with competing narratives. For truth seekers, the lesson is not to rush toward certainty, but to recognize the growing difficulty of separating verified facts, speculation, perception management, political storytelling, and algorithm-driven amplification in an era where information itself has become a battlefield.
GAR will continue bringing readers developing stories, emerging signals, and multiple perspectives as events unfold. Our role is not to tell readers what to believe, but to encourage discernment, critical thinking, and conscious awareness. We encourage every reader to evaluate information carefully, trust their intuition, question assumptions, and arrive at their own conclusions.

Alert - AI Driven Disinformation
Disinformation in the current environment is no longer limited to misleading headlines or biased reporting—it has evolved into highly sophisticated, AI-driven content that can convincingly mimic real people, real events, and real broadcasts. As highlighted in the alert, fake news, AI-generated videos, and fabricated content are now being produced and distributed at scale, often faster than traditional verification systems can respond. These tools allow bad actors to create entirely false narratives—complete with realistic visuals, voices, and “live” reporting—that appear credible to the average viewer. The result is a rapidly accelerating information environment where deceptive AI content spreads quickly online, blurring the line between reality and fabrication.
At a deeper level, this is not just about misinformation—it is about programming perception. When manipulated images, videos, and narratives are repeated across platforms, they begin to shape how people interpret events, form opinions, and react emotionally. This is why the guidance in the alert matters: think critically, verify sources, and question everything. The goal of AI-driven disinformation is not always to convince you of one specific lie, but to create confusion, division, and uncertainty at scale. In this environment, discernment becomes a critical skill. Not everything seen or read online is true, and maintaining clarity requires slowing down, cross-checking information, and resisting the impulse to react before verifying.
