Newly revealed footage leaked by an ABC insider has exposed how network executives rejected allegations against Jeffrey Epstein years ago, even though there was content regarding the merit of those claims in-hand. Amy Robach, ‘Good Morning America’ Co-Host and Breaking News Anchor at ABC, explains how a witness came forward years ago with information pertaining to Epstein, but Disney-owned ABC News refused to air the material for years.
Robach vents her anger in a “hot mic” moment with an off-camera producer, explaining that ABC quashed the story in its early stages. “I’ve had this interview with Virginia Roberts (Now Virginia Guiffre) [alleged Epstein victim]. We would not put it on the air. Um, first of all, I was told “Who’s Jeffrey Epstein. No one knows who that is. This is a stupid story.” She continues, “The Palace found out that we had her whole allegations about Prince Andrew and threatened us a million different ways.” Robach goes on to express she believes that Epstein was killed in prison saying, “So do I think he was killed? 100% Yes, I do…He made his whole living blackmailing people… Yup, there were a lot of men in those planes. A lot of men who visited that Island, a lot of powerful men who came into that apartment.” Robach repeats a prophetic statement purportedly made by Attorney Brad Edwards “…[T]here will come a day when we will realize Jeffrey Epstein was the most prolific pedophile this country has ever known,” and Disgustedly Robach states “I had it all three years ago.” Project Veritas intends to continue its investigation into corruption in the Mainstream Media. We encourage that Brave insiders at these organizations come forward with any information they have so that the public knows what is really going on within these media companies.
Truth About Impeachment
The US president is facing an impeachment inquiry directly related to his relentless pursuit of malicious untruths
Rep. Peter Welch, D-Vt., voted along with 231 other House members Thursday in favor of an impeachment inquiry resolution that outlines the ground rules for the investigation into President Donald Trump.
The resolution, which Welch has called the “procedural road map” for the public impeachment investigation, passed almost completely along party lines. Reps. Collin Peterson, D-Minn., and Jeff Van Drew, D-N.J., were the lone Democrats who opposed the measure.
The resolution opens the way for the public phase of the inquiry into Trump’s July 25 phone call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The U.S. president asked his Ukranian counterpart to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, who served on the board of Burisma Holdings, a natural gas company in Ukraine, from 2014 to 2019.
A number of diplomats and security officials have since testified behind closed doors that the request was part of a campaign by the president and his advisers to pressure Ukraine to open an investigation into Biden, a political rival, in return for $400 million in military aid and a meeting with the Trump administration.
Republicans in Congress and the president have complained that Democrats have obscured the impeachment process by holding investigative hearings behind closed doors.
Now that Democrats have decided to hold public hearings, Trump’s allies in the House say the process has been tainted by the prior private sessions. The impeachment investigations of President Richard Nixon, a Republican, and President Bill Clinton, a Democrat, both started with closed-door hearings.
Below is a breakdown of the resolution, which can be read here in full. Welch, as a member of both the intelligence and government oversight committees, will be intimately involved in the process.
- The resolution directs the six committees — intelligence, financial services, foreign affairs, judiciary, oversight, and ways and means — to continue the ongoing inquiry into whether “sufficient grounds exist” for the lower chamber to impeach the president.
- House Intelligence Committee chair Adam Schiff, D-Calif., is given the authority to schedule public hearings and call witnesses to testify.
- Republicans are allowed to request witnesses and issue subpoenas during the impeachment investigation. However, Schiff and other committees Democrats will have the power to veto Republican requests.
- Schiff and committee ranking member Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., will both be able to question witnesses for up to 90 minutes in total — a change from the usual five minutes. Schiff and Nunes can also designate staffers to question witnesses. Other committee members will have the usual five minutes.
- After the intelligence committee holds public hearings, the panel will write up investigatory findings before handing off the inquiry to the House Judiciary Committee, chaired by Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., which will draft articles of impeachment should the process reach that point.
Welch said he expects public hearings before Thanksgiving. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi told Bloomberg Friday she anticipates a similar timeline.
“I don’t know what the timetable will be — the truth will set us free,” Pelosi said of the schedule once public hearings begin. “We have not made any decisions on if the president will be impeached.”
1. Joe Biden Pressured Ukraine to Fire it’s Chief Prosecutor, to Shield his Son Hunter
This goes right to the core of the impeachment inquiry, as it speaks to the “urgent concern” raised by a whistleblower in the intelligence services. According to the whistleblower’s complaint, Trump repeatedly urged the Ukrainian government to investigate the former vice-president, in the hope of gathering dirt on someone who stands a good chance of contesting next year’s presidential election.
Trump’s theory begins with a truth: in 2016 Biden withheld $1bn in loan guarantees from Ukraine in order to winkle out its then-chief prosecutor, Viktor Shokin. The prosecutor, Trump’s story goes on less accurately, was busily investigating Hunter Biden, the vice-president’s second son, who was a paid board member of a large Ukrainian gas company, Burisma.
Two and two make five: Joe Biden, Trump concluded, was corruptly interfering in Ukraine in order to protect his son.
There are problems with this narrative. The Burisma investigation was dormant when Biden pushed for Shokin to be fired. And Biden was not alone in wanting Shokin out: several European governments and authorities including the IMF also pressed for his dismissal, because of his dire record on fighting corruption.
2. Hunter Biden was up to his Neck in Corruption
There is no doubt the younger Biden’s appointment at Burisma in April 2014 was curious, to put it politely. He had no expertise in the gas industry and it is hard to avoid the thought his main attraction was his bloodline.
But the move was not illegal and his father has stated that the pair never discussed business. In May, the then prosecutor general of Ukraine told Bloomberg there was no evidence either Biden did anything wrong.
Then, as now, there was no law or regulation preventing children or other relatives of powerful public figures pursuing lucrative business opportunities.
Ask Billy Carter, brother of Jimmy Carter; Hillary Clinton’s brothers, Tony and Hugh Rodham; and George W Bush’s brother Neil. As Vox has pointed out, all raised eyebrows by engaging in business dealings when their relative was in high office. To that list, you might add three other presidential children: Donald Jr, Eric, and Ivanka Trump.
3. The Whistleblower is Biased
Trump has repeatedly smeared the individual he calls the “so-called whistleblower” and “#FakeWhistleblower”, questioning his or her patriotism and motivations.
A whole new conspiracy theory has emerged. Trump has tweeted a link to an article by the rightwing website the Federalist that suggests foul play on the grounds that Andrew Bakaj, the whistleblower’s attorney, interned for leading Democrats Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton.
Stephen Miller, Trump’s senior adviser, told Fox News Sunday: “I know the difference between a whistleblower and a deep state operative.”
The truth is, very little is known about the whistleblower’s political beliefs. The inspector general of the intelligence community, the first to receive the complaint, did find “some indicia of an arguable political bias”.
But he concluded that the allegations “appeared credible”. Furthermore, the general counsel in the office of the director of national intelligence stated: “We have every reason to believe that [the whistleblower] has acted in good faith.”
In a related theory, the Federalist also reported that shortly before the Ukraine complaint was filed, the US intelligence community “secretly eliminated a requirement that whistleblowers provide direct, first-hand knowledge of alleged wrongdoings”. The report, embraced by conservative media figures Trump is known to follow, has been debunked.
4. ‘CrowdStrike’
This is the most bizarre of all Trump’s Ukraine fantasies. To put it briefly: Crowdstrike, a cybersecurity company hired by the Democratic National Committee to look into a massive hack of emails during the 2016 election, was in cahoots with key Democrats and collectively framed Russia as the source of the theft.
In fact, the theory goes, the DNC server was not hacked by Russia but was hidden in Ukraine. The whole Russia line was a ruse to besmirch Trump and help Clinton.
There are so many fallacies in the theory it is hard to know where to begin. There is no one DNC server and it is not hidden in Ukraine. Russia was confirmed as the source of the hacked emails by US intelligence agencies, the justice department, and the FBI.
On Sunday, Trump’s first homeland security adviser, Thomas Bossert – no deep state Democrat he – told ABC the idea Ukraine, not Russia, interfered in 2016 was “completely debunked” and “has no validity”.
5. George Soros is Behind it All
Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York who is now Trump’s personal lawyer, has repeatedly touted the idea that the billionaire philanthropist was the financier and mastermind behind Democratic dirty dealings in Ukraine.
“George Soros was behind it, George Soros’ company was funding it,” Giuliani told ABC, referring to the related conspiracy theory that Ukraine colluded with Clinton.
Soros has been a favorite target of virulent rightwing conspiracy theories dating back to the early 1990s, many with antisemitic undertones.
The Soros-Ukraine narrative has been widely discredited. An investigation by the Daily Beast found it to be “flimsy” and based “almost entirely on innuendos”.

Where things stand now
- The latest: More than 200,000 customers remain without power in Northern California, according to California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services.
- Cause of fires: Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) filed two reports indicating their equipment may be involved in the start of two fires in the San Francisco Bay area.
- Multiple fires burning: More than 26 million people from California to Arizona are under red flag warnings as firefighters deal with blazes already burning in California’s wine country and in the Los Angeles area.
- The Easy-Fire: A new fire broke out this morning in Simi Valley, prompting the evacuation of the Reagan Presidential Library.
- The Getty Fire: In Los Angeles, the Getty Fire has destroyed at least eight homes since flaring up early Monday, officials say.
- The Kincade Fire: The state’s largest active wildfire has scorched more than 76,100 acres in and around Northern California’s Sonoma County since last week.
PG&E equipment may be linked to two more California fires
Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) filed two reports with the California Public Utility Commission today indicating their equipment may be involved in the start of two fires in the San Francisco Bay area, officials said during a news briefing.
Bill Johnson, CEO, and president of PG&E told media they have contacted the state in regards to news reports of videos possibly showing sparking powerlines at the Bethel Island and Oakley fires.
“We filed electric incident reports on both of those which are based on how many media reports we get. We did have assets in the area and we know that the local fire departments are investigating those,” said Johnson.
When asked if the lines were energized and not part of the Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS), Mark Quinlan, senior director, emergency preparedness and response responded, “I don’t have that information at this time to speak to it. But to Bill’s point when we assets that are involved, we file that form through our protocols. We don’t really speculate on causation.”
More than 200,000 customers remain without power in Northern California
Mark Ghilarducci, director of the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services, shared the latest number of statewide power shutoffs as of this evening:
- Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E): 206,000 customers without power
- Southern California Edison (SCE): 71,000 customers without power
- San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E): 21,785 customers without power
This morning, PG&E began safety inspections and restoring power to 973,000 customers affected by the Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) event that began Oct. 26.
“While utilities are beginning to restore power now in the north, there are still power shutoffs ongoing in the south, particularly because of the significant wind event that is occurring there,” Ghilarducci said at a news conference.
